League of Evil is a platformer where evil scientists around the world have joined forces to form a “League of Evil”.
You are the agent that’s going to take care of that and kill them all !
Your goal is to finish each of the 54 short levels under a given amount of time in order to receive 3 stars.
In each level is hidden a briefcase. These briefcases are not an afterthought and really add to the replay value of the game.
Getting 3 stars on all levels is relatively easy but grabbing all the briefcases will give you a good run for your money.
You finish the level by finding and killing the evil scientist.
This game is HARD…
It is what people call a baby puncher! If you are not familiar with the term baby punchers are the type of game where even though you just died making that jump for some reason you are going to make the exact same mistake over and over again until you finally get it right but the feeling of accomplishment once you do is what will make you come back for more…
The levels are very well designed and the platformer mechanics are very good. Since the game is based on time every level is architected to allow for speed runs.
The graphics are retro 8bit goodness and the levels have different environments.
The only downside is that the game could use some more achievements. Come on 6 achievements that’s it ???

If the 54 levels weren’t enough, know that Ravenous games has an update coming out hopefully sometime next week that has an additional 48 levels! 30 normal difficulty and 18 impossible missions…

All and all this is a great game for both casual and hard core gamers. It has a ton of value for the very low price of $0.99
